David Heaney, Senior Vice President, re-joined the company in 2021. At Platform, David is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, deal execution and working with executive teams to drive strategy and growth . David is involved with Alliance HCM, Alliance Strategies, July Business Services, Principle Health Systems and South Coast Terminals. Prior to joining Platform, David spent eight years at Amazon where he held several leadership roles across product management, data analytics, marketing, sales, and P&L responsibility for different business units. Prior to Amazon, David worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch, private equity at Platform Partners, and venture capital at TomorrowVentures. He graduated from Duke University with a BSE in Civil Engineering. David received a JD from Northwestern University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, and a MBA from Kellogg School of Management. Outside of work, David enjoys traveling with his wife and child, and swimming, fly fishing and volleyball.
