We are pleased to announce the promotions of Kemp Sauer and Steven Polasek to Senior Associate. Since joining Platform, both Kemp and Steven have become trusted members of our investment team, contributing thoughtful analysis, strong execution, and meaningful partnership across our portfolio and new investment activity.
Kemp joined Platform in 2023 from Barclays’ energy investment banking group, where he also focused on M&A advisory and financing. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Financial Management from Texas A&M University. Kemp works closely with ALM First, Process Service Specialists, and Progressive Pipeline Management.
Steven joined Platform in 2024 from Piper Sandler’s Energy & Power investment banking group, where he focused on M&A advisory and financing within the energy industry. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned both his BBA and MPA in Accounting. Since joining Platform, Steven has been actively involved with South Coast Terminals, Beacon Funeral Partners, Evette Staffing and Pantalones Tequila.
