Fred Brazelton, CEO, co-founded Platform and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Encino Energy, Exact Payments, July Business Services and Principle Health Systems. In addition, Fred was on the Board of Platform’s investments in ALM First, Avalon Advisors, Beneplace, Envoy Mortgage, Evergreen North American Industrial Services, Firestone & Robertson Distilling, Landmark Aviation, Santa Barbara Tax Products Group and TRE Financial Services. Prior to Platform, he was a partner of The CapStreet Group, where he worked since 2000. Prior to joining CapStreet, Fred worked for the private equity firms of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst and Willis, Stein & Partners after starting his career in investment banking at CS First Boston. He received his BBA from the Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from Stanford University. Fred is active within the Houston community and serves on the Board of Trustees for St. Francis Episcopal Day School, the Board of Directors for the WorkFaith Connection and the Welch Foundation, and is an Advisory Board member and former Chairman of Small Steps Nurturing Center. Fred is an active member of Grace Bible Church and enjoys bird hunting, fly fishing and coaching sports for his three kids.
