PHS was founded by James Dieter, Chris Light and Brian Langen and operates through two primary business segments. The Laboratory service line provides a full offering of testing capabilities and is focused on the long-term care market, serving skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities and home health providers. The Spine and Pain service line provides minimally invasion procedures, treatments and injections to alleviate pain. Platform was introduced to PHS through a CEO of one of our portfolio companies. The founders were seeking a recapitalization to provide partial liquidity and to find the right partner to help them to professionalize and execute on their growth strategy. Platform’s role is to assist the PHS team with strategic planning, financial reporting and forecasting and strategic HR resources.
